MRI Liver-Imaging Symposium - 18th November, 2017, Inselspital Bern
MR imaging of the liver has evolved substantially over the last years with the invention of new MR imaging techniques and the use of hepatocyte specific contrast media.
The aim of the “MRI Liver Imaging Symposium” is to provide a comprehensive overview on state-of-the art imaging of the liver and on the large variety of different imaging findings as well as the most important diagnoses. We will discuss benign and malignant focal liver lesions, diffuse liver disease and functional liver imaging always including an interactive discussion with various real clinical cases. Furthermore, two interdisciplinary sessions will focus on the interaction between radiology and hepatology as well as surgery.
The course aims to teach radiologists but also hepatologists, surgeons and gastroenterologists to become familiar with the new techniques and diagnostic opportunities of liver imaging.
All presentations and case discussions will be given in English.
The course is accredited with 6 CME credits provided by the SGR-SSR.
